Cats and Singing

We borrowed this book from the library, and every page had a picture of a cat (that had absolutely nothing to do with the story), and Jovi quickly became infatuated with the game "Where's the cat?". This game was repeated (with help from Mama every time, of course), a minimum of 10 rounds each time.

It is so interesting to watch videos of Minnette and Jovi at the same age and see the difference being the oldest and the third-in-line really makes. Jovi is so greatly influenced by her big sisters. Even blindly. Minnette and Aurelle love to come home and play "primary" (our church's Sunday School  program for young children) and pretend to give talks, sing songs, say prayers... you name it. Jovi has never even stepped foot into primary, and here she is pretending to sing songs out of a pretend hymnal. Why? Because she has seen Minnette and Aurelle do it- so it must be fun and cool, right? What a lesson on teaching older siblings to be good examples!

I also must add: that I love hearing my children singing! Their sweet little voices are so cute! A guaranteed heart-melter every time.
