SOOOOOOO PRECIOUS!!

If you haven't been able to tell from our blog already... we have a baby, her name is Minnette, and she is basically the most amazing thing that has ever happened to either of us and is the center of our little universe... just basically. :) So, we take A LOT of pictures.

Here are some of my favorites:

In this picture Minnette is just three days old. It's hard to believe she could be any smaller than she is right now, but here's the proof. This picture makes me a little sad... she's growing up so fast! ::sniff::sniff::

This is right after her very first bath at home... she idn't even cry until we took her out!



I love this picture. Minnette had a hard time falling asleep in her bassinet at first, so I used to let her fall asleep in her boppy pillow, and then just move the pillow into her bassinet. I went to take a shower one morning and came back and found her like this... I thought it was so hilarious!

This is Minnette with her 2 year old cousin Aliyah. Aliyah is probably the cutest (and tannest) little girl in the world (well, at least she was until Minnette came into the world. Sorry, Aliyah... you are a close second and you are still the most tan, especially compared to Minnette!)

When I came home for work, this is how I found Minnette tucked in for nap time!

Yes, we do have the chubbiest baby in the world. And I just looooove to pinch those cheeks (and those thighs!!!).

And so I just have to say that we have the cutest baby in the entire world.

Minnette smiles all the time now! She also recognizes Kyle and I and will start smiling as soon as she sees us. Today I actually got her to laugh just by tickling her feet!

Since Minnette was born I would have to say that one of my favorite things, besides being a Mom, is to see Kyle being a Daddy! He loves Minnette so much and it is the sweetest thing to watch him while he is holding/feeding/playing with her! Kyle is such an amazing Dad!

Blessing Day

Minnette is definitely a lucky girl to have a Daddy that loves her as much as Kyle does!

She is growing so fast!

When she was born, Minnette weighed 7 pounds 13 ouces and was 20 inches long. She is growing so fast and seems to be changing every day! This picture was taken in the hospital (obviously, since we don't usually make her sleep in a plastic box at home) and her outfit is newborn size which she grew out of over a month ago!

At her one month appointment she weighed in at 10 pounds 5 ounces(82nd percentile), and was 21 1/4 inches (58th percentile). This is her at one month sitting next to her cousin, Hunter (who is only 7 weeks older than she is!)

On the 16th we took her to her two month well check appointment where she weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds and 1 ounce!!! She is in the 95th percentile for her weight (I guess all those late night feedings are paying off)! And she is 23 inches long. I can not believe how big she is getting! This is her at two months wearing a size 3 month outfit! We absolutely LOVE those rolls and those chubba-chubby cheeks!!!

Catch Up

First comes love,

(when we were 16 years old, that is...)

then comes marriage,

(over 4 years later... but don't forget the breakup, mission/letter writing, dating and engagement that happened first...)

then comes the baby in the baby carriage.

(one day less than nine months later!)

I guess sometimes it really does happen like that!!!

Kyle and I were sealed in the Mesa temple November 17, 2007. Yesterday was our 11 month anniversary, and we can't believe it's been almost a year already! I guess when you've known someone for over 6 years, one little year can go by pretty fast!

Only nine months after we were married, almost to the day, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Minnette into the world! We have loved every single minute of having her in our lives and she is just the cutest and funniest little baby (it is amazing how unintentionally hilarious a two month old can be!).

And now, Kyle is going to school and working, spends most of his days off taking care of Minnette while I work and the rest of his time he spends doing homework and studying for his classes. We love him and are so proud of him for all of the things he is doing for our family! FOR NOW, I am working full time at Wells Fargo and looking forward to being able to stay home and be a full time M-O-M within the next couple of months!
