Two in the Tub Throwback

Once Aurelle could sit up on her own, (she is exactly 6 months in these pictures) we got this amazing baby tub seat so that we could bath the girls 2-in-1. The girls absolutely LOVED it and it was so darn cute watching them play together (a.k.a. Minnette taking all of Aurelle's toys ;)).

Back to the present: Aurelle has now graduated from her baby bath-tub seat and crawls all over the tub and constantly tries to stand in the tub... slippery tub + slippery baby feet + unstab;e baby= accident waiting to happen... we've experienced THAT before!

Aurelle has recently become very interested in the shiny silver thing that I hold in front of her face constantly, and so many of our recent pictures turn out like this:

Mom, give me that!
Come on, just let me touch it!

Bucket Head(s)

Minnette loves to sit in the driver's seat of the car and pretend to drive. She has been able to play in the front seat of the car a lot lately and trying to strap her into her own carseat is done against her will most of the time! Only about 14 years to go, Minnette!

What is so funny to me about these pictures, is that whenever I try to think about ,as a 16 year old with her license and driving a car... THIS is what I picture! And it always makes me laugh to picture a little toddler Minnette behind the wheel of a car! I just have the hardest time picturing her being anything but a toddler looking exactly like she looks right now.

Splish Splash

The weather is getting warmer, but the big pool in the back yard is still too cold! So my mom got this cute little pool for Minnette to play in. The fron yard is one of Minnette's favorite places, so needless to say, she had an absolute BLAST playing in this little pool in the front yard grass!
