The last week in August, we were able to take a little family trip back to Arizona to spend time with family. Oh yea, and also because AMBER GOT MARRIED!!! It was such a fun week, and we were so glad that we were able to be there for Chris and Amber... despite the fact that they decided to get married only TWO DAYS before Kyle started school! We are so happy for you two... your reception was beautiful and we hope you guys are loving married life in Idaho!

While we were in Arizona we celebrated Minnette's birthday with both of our families. Minnette is one lucky little girl to have so much wonderful family that loves her... and gives her such great birthday gifts. Thank you everyone! :)
She even had not one, but TWO fancy cakes made for her birthday- only because my sister, Jenn, is ridiculously talented and wanted to try two different flavors out on the family. Did YOU get two cakes for YOUR second birthday? Like I said, Minnette is one lucky little girl...

So in ase you were wondering, Arizona has never been this hot before! Coming back to AZ's 113 degree weather after having just spent the last 3 months in 85 degree weather can be a slight shock to your system! It took me at least 3 days to stop feeling like I was about to pass out everytime I walked outside. And I typically LOVE Arizona summers... it was sad to say the least!

Don't mind the bulging and saggy diaper... we forgot to bring a swim diaper, oops!
