Reading

Minnette loves books. We read to her before nap time, before bed every night and many times throughout the day as she brings books over to us. She also likes to read by herself. Sometimes she will open a book, turn the pages, point at the pictures and say "buh, buh, buh, buh!" That is when she is trying to copy Kyle and I when we read to her. But most of the time, she will be playing in the living room and get really quiet and I will think "She's too quiet... oh no, what is she up to?" And I find her like this:

We have a toychest slash bench that she loves to sit on and flip through her books. She can sit on here and "read" for half and hour or so!

Just Some Gems

The backpack

How do you know what is most important to Minnette? She puts it on her plane and pushes it around, of course...

I bet you are wondering what Minnette's most prized posessions of the moment are:

a tiger,

truck

and medical kit. What a silly girl!
This is proof for my Mom that Minnette does, in fact, look good in brown! ;)

Not the best picture, but Minnette is still oh, so stylish!

Cuddlin' like a bug

High Five!

Oh, the novel I could write about the craziness of Minnette's hair!

So pretty it hurts.

Halloween 2009

Only about 3 weeks late... but who's keeping track??
::cough::Sorry Mom and Dad::cough::

Our lovely Halloween morning began with the first annual Willman Family pumpkin carving, and Minnette got to help!

Here she is helping Daddy (who looks like he was in severe pain while I was taking this picture) take the top off the pumpkin...
... and then trying to EAT the top of the pumpkin...
Daddy showing Minnette the ooey-gooey goodness inside of Mr. Pumpkin!

Minnette's turn:

The end result... Kyle carved it all by himself! I asked him what it was supposed to be and he told me "a cyclopse." I think it somewhat resembles Mike Wasowski from Monster's Inc.

Our little pumpkin fairy ready to go Trunk or Treat'n!

We were so excited that Minnette was old enough to go to trunk or treat this year! Not that she really got what was going on... In fact, she seemed to be extremely confused by all the costumes she saw, and I could barely get her to walk because she would just stand in the middle of the parking lot staring at everybody walking by! She didn't get the whole saying trick or treat or holding out her bucket for candy thing either, and she kept getting tired and wanting to sit down in between cars! It was so hilarious and cute.
Aurelle's first Halloween... which she made it just in time for- with barely a week to spare! She was a cat, or possibly a mouse, or some kind of pink animal that this (supposedly sized 0-3 mos... yeah right!) hat symbolized. A vision in pink!

Happy Birthday, Padre!

(One of my most favoritest pictures of all time!)
Happy Birthday, Dad! We love you sooo much and hope that you have an AMAZING day!

Love,

Katie, Kyle, Minnette and Aurelle

Sunday Best

Due to Aria's baby blessing we were able to attend two weeks ago and a bad case of the stomache flu for Minnette last Sunday- today was our first Sunday back at our ward since Aurelle was born. It went so well... it was my first Sunday in over a year that I wasn't in nursery - so I actually got to attend the grown-up classes!- and Aurelle was not only great, she was PERFECT- she slept the entire time!
Of course we had to get the girls all dressed up in their adorable matching dresses
from Grandma Willman:

Minnette absolutely LOVES her baby sister and is always so sweet with her.

We love our girls!
